Barry Lyon founded NBLC after many years working in senior real estate positions and was regarded as one of the leading experts on residential development in the Greater Toronto Area.
Barry played a key role in the development of communities such as Meadowvale, Port Credit, Regent Park and Toronto’s Waterfront.
Under Barry’s direction, NBLC carried out market and financial feasibility studies on over 250,000 units of housing across Canada.
Barry is an inductee of the Building Industry and Land Development Association’s Hall of Fame.

and Land Economist with a broad
base of experience, ranging

construction management. His
work experience has taken him
across Canada and Europe where
he has an established reputation
as an excellent communicator,
a creative problem solver and
pragmatic thinker. Mark’s work
experience of over 35 years, has
allowed him to develop a high
degree of expertise in virtually
all categories of development.
Scott is a Registered Professional
Planner, a Member of the Canadian
Institute of Planners and a
Professional Land Economist.
With over 20 years of experience,
Scott has a considerable depth
of knowledge with a diversified
range of public and private sector
assignments and projects, including
policy studies, approvals, and
analyzing market and financial
feasibility. Scott prides himself
on being able to provide the
highest levels of client satisfaction
through his insightful and sensible
solutions and approaches.
Jasmine has over 15 years of
experience in the real estate
industry. At NBLC, Jasmine leads
the residential market research
of all housing forms and tenures
across Canada. Her work includes
market feasibility studies, highest
and best use analyses, and
analyses. Jasmine also specializes
in sales and marketing strategies,
including detailed product pricing.
Matthew is a Registered Professional Planner and Professional Land Economist with experience in a wide range of both public and private sector real estate development and land use planning projects across Canada.
Matt’s work often focuses at the intersection of concept development and economic viability. He also leads the development of disposition and procurement strategies, asset management programs and business plans for institutions and public bodies considering the development or redevelopment of land assets.
Nick holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Queen’s University and is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) and Land Economist (PLE). Nick specializes in providing market and economic support to both private and public sector clients.
His work often focuses on the market and financial feasibility of development, affordable housing, land economics, growth management, financial incentives, supply and demand projections, land value analyses, employment markets, the development of planning policies, and all issues surrounding urban economics.
